Programming attention needed

WHen I load all of the ingredients I have it fills the screen and I cannot navigate to the bottom to "Now, tap here to search". It would also be nice to have it retain the ingredients Ive already put in. This would save time the next time I use the app because it throws them all away but I still have most of the same ingredients, right?
